Seeking musicians for an all-original band, obscure covers. I have financial backing for a five-song EP. I have a business plan and seek to put together a group of seasoned musicians who come in prepared and have fun making progress at each rehearsal. This band will be a well-rehearsed, well-oiled, finely-tuned machine. Music sounds like a cross between the Dead, Aerosmith, Exile-era Rolling Stones, and The Allman Bros. Band. You will be expected to learn the songs and parts but make them your own over time. I'm a multi-instrumentalist but will be playing rhythm/lead guitar and singing lead in this group. An Allman Bros., Joe Perry, Slash, Garcia-type guitarist would be perfect here. Seeking keyboards, too -- where are you??? Looking to round out this powerhouse band with keyboards/Hammond, lead guitar, rhythm guitar or bass, a drummer who knows how to swing, percussion, and a multi-instrumentalist who plays woodwinds and brass, among other instruments. Singers are encouraged to apply, too. Please, be professional in your response, just like you would any gig you seriously want to be considered for. I will send demo versions of the songs once we talk. These positions will be paid once the lineup is solidified.
