Lost Letterman Jacket - in a "lost mail" package. The US Postal Service "lost" my package. The box was first distributed out of the LOS ANGELES CA NETWORK DISTRIBUTION CENTER on January 6th. From that point the damaged (opened) box was last tracked as being sent to the Mail Recovery Center in Atlanta on January12, 2022. I filed a "Mail Search Request Form" on January 19, 2022 and it expired as of April 20. The form stated that the search would last for one year but it expired in 90 days. I can not believe that all of the contents in the box were "lost." Contents included several yearbooks and a high school letterman jacket. The yearbooks are from St. Paul's Lutheran Elementary School and the Letterman Jacket is from El Modena High School. The jacket is maroon and gold and the name on the back of the jacket is PORCELLA. See photos. I am just sick that this jacket was "lost" in the mail and I keep thinking that someone is walking around wearing my son's jacket.
