NATICK, MA — The Natick Select Board has picked a group of town residents and employees to find a replacement for outgoing Town Administrator Melissa Malone. Malone announced on Nov. 3 that she would step down by Dec. 28 after 2-1/2 years on the job. Deputy Town Administrator for Operations Jamie Errickson will likely step in as an interim administrator until the town hires someone. The four residents picked by the Select Board for the committee include Lindsey Galveo, Carol Gloff, Edward Hudson and Joshua Ostroff. Ten people submitted applications to serve on the committee. The Select Board also picked members from various other town committees to serve on the search team: Glen Gater from the Planning Board; Superintendent Anna Nolin from the School Committee; Linda Wollschlager from the Finance Committee; Steven Levinsky from the Personnel Board; and Town Moderator designee Charles Grad. The Town Administrator Search Committee will hold its first meeting on Monday. The committee will discuss a timeline for the search, a meeting schedule and whether to hire a search consultant, according to the agenda. Select Board Chair Jonathan Freedman appointed Levinsky as the acting chair, but the first meting will include the election of permanent committee leaders.
