Searching for a keyboardist, particularly for Rhodes, Wurli, Hammond sounds - trading off on lead parts, comping, solos. We’re looking for a collaborator to create material & gig it. Got guitar, bass, drums, rehearsing in Allston. This is a new project (though all of us have played together previously) - in our 30s/40s, plenty of gigging experience. Starting in the soul / jazz-funk vein, the concept is to bring the soulful vibes & pocket grooves, and take them somewhere beautifully dreamy, outer spacey…jazzier explorations that are creative, euphoric, open-ended. Mostly simple structures, lots of room for feel, dynamics, rhythmic interplay, and let it take off. I can send rehearsal clips if interested.
