Looking for a man who would like to have some fun together ''''''''''''Bass/keys player looking to start a Psychedelic soul/funk/jazz band. Looking for like minded musicians in their 20s to 40s who excel at their craft. If I haven't lost you yet- and you're a fine musician with a decent ear for music- how about help me start a band and be part of what may be the most important global citizen movement in history? I write/sing/play guitar, and hack around on several instruments (mainly for recording purposes). My background is jazz and modern Brazilian (MPB) but I grew up (musically) listening to The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bob Marley, David Bowie, Kate Bush, Joni, Stevie Wonder, etc. In other words- the great songwriters. I write tunes with a huge emphasis on lyrics. An ideal band for me MUST have a fantastic piano/keyboard player... that's about as critical for me as a solid rhythm section. Then a trumpet and cello would be pretty bad-ass. And maybe a lead guitarist too. . Hit us up and lets get loud.Anyone out there who’s a guitarist-singer looking to join a band. We got a couple of tunes in the works and looking to round up the line up. We are looking to start a 3 piece and do all the band stuff (rehearse, play live, record music etc). Whether you’re looking for an experienced guitarist to fill a spot in your band, or if you’re just looking to jam I’d like to see who’s out there. I’ve played in bands (some regional touring/success) ranging from hard rock to a variety of metal sub genres. I’m open to new things, but I’m not a strong country, or “tech metal” guitar player.
