Paris, my 20 yr old sun conure died over 2 years ago. I want another companion bird. It must be SUPER TAME & quiet & laid back. Everything I read says this species is loud but I’ve had three and none of them were loud—maybe it was because I was with them all the time I just love birds. I might consider a different kind of bird I’d not sure. (I had a pair of green cheek Conures & I don’t want that species again. They were a bit too lively for me). I want a companion bird that will sit on my shoulder and go places with me & I just love sun conures! Paris even went with me to teach school for years and years. I have a special cage in the car attached to the passenger seat that’s acrylic, it is sold as a backpack for people who have pet birds, but I use it as a car seat so she can go everywhere my dog and I go. I will be home with the bird all the time because I’m disabled and my dog is a service dog, sheltie, he grew up with birds and he loves them, too. 5 oh 4 / four hundred / 34, 25 Text me please with a picture because I don’t answer calls from numbers I don’t recognize.
