Livestock Guard dog looking for new farm to protect. 14 month old intact male. 3/4 KANGAL 1/4 BOERBOEL Ellensburg, Washington. Sold the goats and now he’s lost without them. Jake is good with kids, other dogs, cats and goats (he is still a puppy though and wants to play too much some times). If chickens get in his food dish he will stomp them. This has happened three times. He should top out at 160-175 lbs, but he’s active and it’s hard to keep the weight on him even with all the food he wants. He's always been lean. He WILL fight off coyotes--he's done that for me. His personality is loving, reserved and protective. He likes getting snuggles and pets, but he works all night and will bark to keep predators and people away. Kangals are know for this! They BARK. He's also trained to scare off hawks and crows. His disposition is to be the investigator or instigator. His boldness and curiosity will be an asset as he matures. He is not yet neutered as we followed the breeder’s guidance on letting growth plates finish by age 2. That means he has 10 more months before he can be neutered. All his vet visits and shots are up to date. Asking rehoming fee and will be asking you detailed questions to make sure he finds the right farm
