Job Summary Perform various landscape maintenance services such as mowing, trimming, edging walkways and curbs, property clean-ups, etc. for Commercial Properties and Home Owner Associations. The Landscape Maintenance Technician will work closely with Crew Leaders, Account Managers, Director of Operations, Maintenance Crew Members, Office Manager, Irrigation Technicians and Lawn Care Technicians. At all times, the Landscape Maintenance Technician is a representative of Tree Amigos Outdoor Services and will conduct him/herself in an appropriate manner. Responsibilities and Duties • Daily mowing and trimming of commercial property /HOA lawns • Daily edging of walkways and curbs, trash policing • Seasonal pruning/trimming of trees, shrubs and landscape grasses • Seasonal property clean-ups and leaf removals • Use of hand tools such as shovels, rake, pruners, saws, hedge/brush trimmers • Operate mowing equipment such as commercial size mowers, string trimmers, tractors, backpack blowers and edger's • Perform such other activities as may be temporarily or Requirement: • Must have reliable transportation to and from work • Must be legally able to be employed in the U.S. • Possess and maintain a valid US Driver's License; if in a driving position • Ability to lift 50lbs. or more daily • Experience with Zero-Turn mowers is a plus • Ability to interact professionally with all customers, employees and those from external organizations Work Environment: This position requires physical abilities such as strength and manual dexterity. A successful candidate must be able to perform all required functions of this position. While performing the duties of this job, the Landscape Maintenance Technician is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, lift, crouch, reach, stoop, crawl and kneel. the position is regularly exposed to outdoor environmental conditions including extreme hot and cold conditions. Additional working condition my include inadequate lighting, restricted movement and dirty/wet work sites. This position may be required to work on weekends and holidays. Due to the seasonal nature of the work, some peak load situations may arise.
