In-Home Caregiver (Amarillo): possibly multiple days, nights per week, week-ends Must be able to pass a background check + must be able to work in the U.S. legally. Must have a current TX drivers license and clean driving record. Experience and certifications (i.e., CNA, CPR) would be given priority. Private individual is actively seeking caregiver/s for immediate need (mornings, evenings, overnight, week-ends). You choose the time and days you work. You MUST have: - Your own reliable vehicle (not shared with anyone during work hours) - Current auto insurance (in your name) - Verifiable work history, references - Ability to interact well with others - Current, valid Driver's license with clean driving record - Active "smart" cell phone with text capabilities + ability to interact via email as required - Clean criminal background - this will be checked - Current and valid U.S. ID + proof of ability to work in the U.S.A. legally Duties include assisting with simple household tasks for a senior, healthy female who lives at home: - Meal preparation, cleanup - Errands / beauty shop / physician / church / grocery shopping (mileage reimbursed at IRS rate) - Socialization, companionship, bridge playing - Assist with day-time, night-time, overnight personal routine (bathing / dressing assistance) - Light housekeeping and laundry (individual has a housekeeper so any duties would be 'light') - Various other responsibilities - daily, nightly, week-end duties; home organization, travel (primarily in state) You do NOT have to be a CNA or have medical certification. We would consider individuals who are caring, friendly, and enjoy helping others. You DO have to be able to keep your own journal of daily activities and tasks.
