Join the discussion about supporting Hmong males in K - 20 Educational Institutions with panelists This event will be in the form of a conversational panel discussion. Panelist speakers will share their personal experiences navigating K-20 education and their professional interactions supporting Hmong students specifically cisgender male. Panelists will engage in having critical conversations surrounding contributing factors to their access, retention, academic and career achievements. Additionally, they will discuss barriers and supportive factors that have influenced their abilities for personal and professional growth. We hope that staff, faculty, community members will engage in this conversation to promote academic success and engagement supporting Hmong cisgender male at an institutional level. Refreshments will be provided. Open to campus and to the public. The event is family friendly.
