Join us for a picnic to celebrate 75 years of Winnebagoland & Packerland IMA! In 1947, the cost of a gallon of gas was 15 cents. A postage stamp was 3 cents. You could buy a new house for $6,600! We were (allegedly) visited by aliens in Roswell. Chuck Yeager broke the sound barrier. Princess Elizabeth got married. There were only 48 states in the union! And a group of accounting and finance professionals from East Central Wisconsin came together to form the Northern Wisconsin Chapter of the National Association of Cost Accountants (NACA). The group has gone through some changes in the last 75 years: From NACA to NAA (National Association of Accountants) to IMA (Institute of Management Accountants) From the Northern Wisconsin Chapter to the Packerland and Winnebagoland Chapters But one constant is that our vibrant chapters and their volunteer boards continue to provide relevant networking and educational opportunities to the finance professionals, students, and educators of Northeast Wisconsin. As we recognize our 75th anniversary throughout 2022, we’ll have various opportunities to come together and reminisce. We will kick off our celebration with a picnic at the Grand Chute Town Center on Tuesday, May 17, 2022. Bring your family, friends, and party hats. Food will be provided (we can't guarantee to accommodate all dietary restrictions, but please indicate any concerns you have during registration.) We will also hold our annual rewards ceremony and raffle off some special prizes.
