Join us for a police escorted bike ride to celebrate the growth of bicycling in Quincy. Followed by refreshments and a free raffle!
Quincycles and the Bicycle Commission invite you to join us for a morning bike ride to celebrate the growth of bicycling in Quincy and the expansion of the city's bikeway network. The Quincy Police Department's Community Police Unit will escort the group as we ride either 5 or 10 miles (your choice!) along the Spine Route of the Quincy Bicycle and Pedestrian Network Plan -- Hancock and Washington Streets from the Neponset Bridge to the Fore River Bridge.
Registration begins at 8:30am on Saturday, May 21 at Central Middle School, 875 Hancock Street. The Bicycle Link of Weymouth will be on hand for pre-ride bike checks if you need one. The ride kicks off at 9am. Refreshments and a free raffle of items donated by local area bike shops (see below) will follow the ride.
Please reserve a spot here so we can plan for you.
Bring your bike, wear your helmet, and kick off your weekend enjoying how bikeable Quincy is!
