The Baker Veterans Symposium will highlight the accomplishments of military veterans. It will feature guest speakers and vendors. This veterans symposium will celebrate the contributions of Baker, Louisiana veterans and their families. However, all veterans and guests are welcomed to attend this event that will feature the Mayor of Baker, Louisiana Darnell Waites and Secretary of the Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs Joey Strickland. There will be veteran support organizations in attendance as well to provide onsite services to veterans and their families including: Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs Outreach Division Louisiana Department of Veterans Affairs Veteran Assistance Counselor Volunteers of American (Support Services For Veterans and Their Families Division) Quad Vets American Legion Post 416 Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4224 VA Health Care Enrollment Team Mobile Medical Unit (Provided by Southeast Louisiana Veterans Health Care System) Magnolia Veterans Home Jobs For Veterans State Grants Liaison Veterans please feel free to come out with your family!
