STAMFORD, CT — Police are asking for the public's help identifying two men suspected of taking part in an altercation that led to a stabbing in Stamford last month.
In a video posted Friday, Stamford police said the incident occurred in the parking lot of a McDonald's restaurant on East Main Street around 3 a.m. (To sign up for Stamford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)
Around that time, an altercation involving some people in the parking lot occurred, police said.
"The altercation led to a physical assault," police said in the video, "where the victim sustained multiple stab wounds and was partially eviscerated. The suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival."
According to police, the first suspect drove a black BMW 3 Series. He is described as having a slender build, dark hair and a goatee. He was wearing a dark-colored hoodie and dark-colored pants with a stripe at the time of the incident, police said.
The second suspect drove a dark-colored Infiniti Sedan and is described as having a heavyset build, a beard under his chin and long dark hair worn in a bun, according to police. He was wearing dark clothing at the time of the incident, police said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Stamford Police Department at 203-977-4417.
"If you should see these persons, do not approach," police said.
