A night of live funky grooves with Nu Bass Theory, from Durango, joined by ABQ's Black Canary and Nick FuriouStylz. Nu Bass Theory (fka "DJ Calvin") is a Durango-based duo with live guitar, bass, and vocals, over drum beats programmed on the fly and creative samples. Kind of like Khruangbin, but less pretentious. The results are in the vein of triphop and electrop, and old fashioned funk. ABQ's trip-hop/rap and keyboard duo Black Canary and Nick FuriouStylz return to Juno as the opening act.
