Celebrate Summer and come play on the lawn of The Dole! Lawn games, custard, and more! Generously sponsored by the Gassensmith Group. The first playday at The Dole was in 1938, back when The Dole was home to the first ever Crystal Lake Country Club. 84 years later, we are continuing the tradition! Come participate in a spectacular last-day-of-school celebration and enjoy the most wonderful Dole Play Day ever. Let’s kickoff summer with an afternoon full of fun! The Details: This fun-for-all event, sponsored by Gassensmith Group, will be held on the front lawn of The Dole. The 1st 500 attendees will recieve free cones from the Julie Ann’s Custard Truck! The event includes a performance by the Engage Dancers, lawn games for all ages, and a cash bar. Fun activities include dodgeball, wheelbarrow races, chalk art, bubbles, hulahooping, and more! Feel free to bring a blanket or lawn chairs and pack a picnic lunch! Spread out on the lawn with friends and celebrate the last day of school! The Julie Anne’s truck will have items for purchase in addition to the 500 free servings. The event also features a cash bar with pop, water, mimosas and beer. Families who participate in activities can be entered to win prizes. RSVP today for the free event.
