STAMFORD, CT — A city resident is $50,000 richer after purchasing a winning lottery ticket last week in Stamford, according to the Connecticut Lottery. On Friday, Stamford resident Mariana Saltos won $50,000 playing a "Powerball" game. The winning ticket was purchased from Route 7 Shell in Norwalk.
