Trans, intersex and gender-expansive Texans have been under attack by our state leaders and they are tired, y'all. We believe that LOVE is stronger than hate, so that's what this event is all about. Get ready for '90s middle school dance party vibes including... '90s jamz from DJ Boyfriend. Live music from Latin Grammy nominee Gina Chávez. Drag performances by Extragrams. Wig bar by Coco Coquette. Jonathan Krugman will be doing makeup touches. Plus, Rev. Remington Johnson will moderate a panel discussion on how we can be better allies with Tabitha Hamilton of Black Trans Leadership of Austin, intersex activist (and recent JVN podcast guest!) Alicia Roth-Weigel, and others to be confirmed. Silent auction will benefit Black Trans Leadership of Austin. And I have more surprises up my sequined sleeves! Tickets are free for trans, intersex or gender non-conforming folks and the caregivers of trans kids. Allies will have the option to cover the ticket price for a member of the impacted community. This event is all about solidarity! '90s attire like totally encouraged. ASL interpretation will be offered.
