This beekeepers presentation and discussion will help participants learn all about bees and what it takes to successful maintain a bee colony. Topics to be included in the chat include the kinds of hives, hive locations, protective clothing, hive temperature, species, bee castes, stages of development, the structure of the bee colony, and the formation of new colonies. Questions about bee losses and harvesting honey will be addressed.
