We specialize in multiple markets from conveyor’s, specialized mining equipment to penstocks. CNC OPERATOR Salary: Pay range starting at $16.00 - $20.00, based on experience!!! Job Type Full-time Full Job Description: The precise combination of job tasks will vary depending on the Company’s production requirements. Regardless of shift assignment, Machine Operator must be able to perform the following tasks: • Commitment to workplace safety. Support the safety and quality programs by following all accompanying rules and established processes. • Operate CNC drill line, angle line machine, beveller, saw, shear, press brake, oxy or plasma burn table, roll plant machine. Able to operate various production machines, which may require computer operation in addition to operation of machinery. Skills can be obtained with on-the-job training. Understanding of how the machine works to maintain the machinery for which they are responsible and ensure it functions properly. • Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Ability to analyze the information provided on blueprints or other explanatory documents to make sure the final product matches the draft. • Critical thinking skills to detect issues in the creation process and find solutions to ensure the machinery creates the product provided in the draft. • Set-up and operate machines including adjustment and/or replacement of expendable tooling, guides, jigs and fixtures. • Run overhead crane system to handle beams, angles, plates and assemblies. Ability to operate forklift. • Ability to use a variety of hand tools such as hammer, pliers, screwdriver, wrench, drill, grinder and bander. • Clean parts after processing. • Ability to use measuring tools such as tape measure, box caliper, slide dial caliper and micrometer. • Strong math skills for inputting specific dimensions and figures into the CNC machinery. Ability to convert fractions to decimals and vice versa and convert metric to English. • Capable of setting up and operating one or more processing machines. • Speak, write, and comprehend conversational English. • Strong attention to detail. • Perform yard and building cleaning tasks and assist in maintenance of building and equipment • Other duties as assigned. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Individuals must have adequate strength (ability to lift fifty pounds), mobility, dexterity, vision, hearing, and stamina. Subject to environmental conditions that occur indoors and outdoors which includes but is not limited to exposure to changing temperatures, loud noises, and vibration from use of equipment and the following: • Hazards: Variety of physical conditions, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current, exposure to high heat or exposure to chemicals. • Atmospheric conditions: One or more of the following conditions that affect the respiratory system or the skin- fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, or poor ventilation. • Oils: There is air and/or skin exposure to oils and other cutting fluids.
