Quiet Hounds - Drew Beskin - The Echolocations
Eric Toledo, Michael Dorio, and Brad Hagen have been writing and performing music together since they met while attending University in Athens, GA. This brotherly band of musicians would find their way through a variety of formats, indie labels, and publishing agreements throughout the early 2000s before meeting producer and multi-instrumentalist, Deke Spears.
Quiet Hounds’ first-ever performance in 2011 organically drew an underground scene of 400+ attendees. Dressed in latent leather dog masks, they delivered a late 1800s inspired immersive fan experience built by hand. Since its inception, the band has been unifying local musicians, artists, dancers, writers, real estate moguls, chefs, charities and small businesses in unique ways. “Quiet Hounds is about sharing an authentic experience with the world,” says the band. “We are so grateful to have been making music together for all this time and for the support of such a talented community of uncompromising artists and makers”
The group’s 2019 release Everything Else is Noise, marks the sixth major release from this critically-acclaimed group. 2020 saw the band taking a hiatus through the pandemic before the release of two singles Black Swan and Waiting in Cars at the end of 2021. The band is now regrouping to craft a new collection of songs and stepping back out into the world to perform again.
Come join the Quiet Hounds as they team up with local heroes Drew Beskin and The Echolocations at the legendary 40 Watt for one of the first live performances for the band since its 2020 hiatus.
