2nd Annual UACDC Uptown Music Festival - Vendor Opportunities Hello! We are delighted to extend an invitation to you to become a vendor at this year's UACDC Uptown Music Festival taking place on May 14, 2022, from 4pm – 10pm. The Uptown Music Festival was created to bring the Uptown District of Tampa Florida together to highlight the rich culture of the area through music. This one-day event will draw over 1,000 Tampa residents and surrounding cities to the Uptown District of Tampa Florida for a day of music and art that benefit the programs and services of the University Area CDC. This outdoor event will be held in the beautiful University Area Park located at 14013 N. 22nd Street, Tampa, FL 33613 and will be a fun and relaxing evening for the whole family to enjoy. With over 20,000 residents living in unincorporated Hillsborough County and with support from major institutions such as the University of South Florida, Moffitt Cancer Center, Advent Health and Uptown (University Mall) the festival is sure to become one of the premier cultural events in the area. Limited Reserved seating available. General Admission is lawn seating, so bring your outdoor chairs, blankets and enjoy An Evening of Sax Therapy. We are excited to announce this lineup of artists for the 2022 Uptown Music Festival: Kim Waters - One of the biggest selling saxophonists to date.Nathan Mitchell - GRAMMY winning, nominated, and BILLBOARD artists.Jose Valentino - Jazz, Latin jazz, funk/fusion, pop, R&B, world music, and singer-songwriter.Althea Rene – Regarded as the most exciting solo improvisational flutists, worldwide.Jazmin Ghent - 2019 NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Jazz Album "The Story of Jaz."Tim George - Local Bassist from St. Petersburg who has performed with Ray Charles.In addition to an evening of enjoyable, top rate music, the festival will provide an opportunity for local artist to display and sell their original art, and a family friendly kid zone that will feature UACDC’s own Prodigy Moves, arts and crafts and live performances. Food vendors and Food trucks from throughout the Tampa Bay area will be on site to provide comfort and festival take out cuisine for the evening. Vendor space will be available on a first come, first serve basis for the rate of $150. UACDC also has the right to limit the number of vendors in each of the various business categories.
