Come participate in an innovative and interactive training to introduce you to the skills needed to thrive in today's demanding workplace. Alpha Gamma Chapter of Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated, is pleased to invite you to attend our "From Backpacks to Briefcases", Job Readiness and Workforce Training. This impactful and dynamic College Outreach training is being held on Saturday, May 21, 2022, and includes a delicious homestyle brunch. The training session will begin at 1:00 p.m. and end at 3:00 p.m. This event is free with Eventbrite Registration. Eta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated is a Professional and Businesswomen organization working to improve the quality of life in our community. We recognize the excellence in our young people and reward them for their achievements by awarding college scholarships to graduating high school seniors and support our scholarship recipients with annual stipends. Each year the "From Backpacks to Briefcases", College Outreach Program, select community leaders to share their experience and knowledge as a roadmap to success. The trainings provide effective skills to guide post graduate college students and those new to the job market on successful work force entry and more. The " From Backpack to Briefcase: Your Future now, Creative Pathways to Success" training will provide effective tools to pave the way to a successful career path. Interactive training sessions will be led by experienced professionals, business owners and leaders in the field. Featured presenters are: Wiren "Chuck" Norris, Police Commander, City of North Miami Beach Newall J. Daughtery, Newall J. Daughter and Associates LaEatrice D. McMurray, President, Alpha Gamma Chapter, Eta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated Colette McCurdy-Jackson, National President, Eta Phi Beta Sorority Incorporated Presentations will include: • Dynamic resume writing and interview skills to make you stand out • Accountability and Effective Communication Skills • The Boss: Navigating the Demands of Entrepreneurship This event is free, but seating is limited.
