Cal Coast Telecom is a well-established growing company that specializes in Low Voltage Voice, Data Cabling, Audio Visual and Security Systems. We are currently seeking a full time Warehouse Assistant to join our team in San Jose. The ideal candidate will be reliable and energetic and will possess one or more years of material handling experience, Telecom Industry experiences a plus. Be a person of integrity, customer-centric, courteous, prompt, attentive, positive, seeking continuous improvement, and have a strong value for health and safety. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Receiving, checking-in and unloading pallets from inbound trucks/containers - Responsible for order fulfillment: safely pull stock, load and stage materials with complete accuracy - Checking in/out and keeping track of tools and equipment - Product verification and assist in maintaining a clean and orderly warehouse - Handling all returned products and processing paperwork of the return - Drive a class C vehicle and deliver material goods to job sites - Capable of driving an 18-foot Box Truck - Maintain adequate inventory levels - Organize, maintain, and keep warehouse clean at all times QUALIFICATIONS: - Forklift experience / Certificate - Ability to lift and stage material, upwards of 75lbs - Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others - Prior delivery experience in the Bay Area desired - Ability to multi-task effectively and follow through on projects - Detail orientated with a high level of accuracy REQUIREMENTS: - Maintain an unexpired class C driver’s license - Employees must have 1 years of experience as a material handler - Experience using technology (MS Office, PCs, scanners, etc.) to complete job tasks - High school degree or equivalent - Must be able to pass a 7-year background check - Must be able to pass a drug screen Please send resume through CL relay Or Fax 408-275-8895
