We are a Property Management Company located in Petaluma and have an immediate opening for a Maintenance Worker who has good communication skills and can interface with other departments on property in order to complete work assignments. Under general supervision, the Maintenance Worker performs a variety of work in the general maintenance field. Some construction, light carpentry, pool/fountain maintenance, fence repair/building, deliveries and building/office cleaning may also be performed. This position requires initiative and a strong work ethic. Must be self-motivated and have dependable transportation and excellent attendance. Tasks may include some of the following: -General maintenance and repair of buildings, facilities, equipment, and grounds. -fence building and repair -carpentry, minor electrical, plumbing, masonry, and painting tasks - minor troubleshooting and general repairs. -moving furniture and equipment -setting up appliances - reporting mechanical malfunctions to the appropriate party for action -maintaining clean, safe, and orderly work sites -maintain and clean residence pools/water features -observe and practice safe working protocol Applicant must have the ability to lift 50 - 60 lbs.
