Join the Drums of Navarone in supporting Ukrainian refugees! This 8-piece powerhouse plays scintillating music animated by the rhythmic traditions of Brazil, Cuba, West Africa. These traditional sounds are mixed with Afro-American styles such as funk, jazz and R&B to create something unique in the Minneapolis music scene. You'll hear strains of salsa, samba, and afro-beat along with flavors of American favorites such as Steely Dan, Earth Wind and Fire, Tower of Power. The Drums of Navarone's music is highly danceable, with a powerful rhythm section, blaring horns, and burning soloists! The Drums of Navarone will be joined be special guests the Good, the Bad, and the Funky and the amazing Brazilian drum chorus Batucado do Norte All proceeds will be donated to UNICEF to support refugees fleeing the war in Ukraine. This is your chance to experience a night of great music as well as protect children and families in a time of need. 100% of donations will be distributed to UNICEF's effort to support Ukrainian children. Ticket fees will be used to pay production costs. Once these costs are covered, remaining revenues will be donated in full to UNICEF.
