41st Annual Scholarship & Awards Luncheon - Keynote by Dr. C Alicia Georges, NBNA Past President & Chair National Board of Easter Seals The Miami Chapter - Black Nurses Association, Inc. will host its 41st Annual Scholarship and Awards Luncheon on Saturday, May 14, 2022. The theme for this year’s event is Nursing Resilience: Disruptions in Practice, Research, Education, Policy and Entrepreneurship. Miami Chapter - BNA has had a significant impact on South Florida’s communities, as well as positive collaborations with other organizations. Over the past (40) forty years; we have been able to provide scholarships and awards to deserving individuals who have chosen to passionately follow our profession. As in past years, we present a platform to applaud those who have contributed outstanding service, as well as those who have given their time and talents to support community engagement projects of the Miami Chapter - BNA, both locally and nationally. Miami Chapter - BNA has been in the forefront in combating COVID-19 by providing education, testing, and vaccines. Your sponsorship proceeds will support these activities and our Student Nurses Scholarship Fund. In the past five years, Miami BNA has awarded over $35,000 in scholarships to students pursuing careers in nursing. We know that we cannot do this alone; but with your help, we can make it happen.
