Description

Calling all clans! The Saline Celtic Festival & Highland Games invites you to join us in celebrating our 25th year! The Saline Celtic Festival would like to invite you to represent your clan at the festival on July 8-9, 2022 at Mill Pond Park overlooking the beautiful Saline River. The setting is charming, the folks are friendly and the atmosphere is festive! 2022 marks a momentous 25-year anniversary for this festival. We are commemorating this event with a call for the biggest representation of clans in the festival history! By popular demand we have relocated the clans to an area next to the athletic field providing good views of the events, increased traffic past our tents and an opportunity to host visitors in our tents with a view of the games. There will be a Ceilidh Friday evening starting at 6:00 pm. (Gates open at 5:00pm.) It’s only $5 and we hope you can stay and dance with us a while on Friday! Benefits of attendance Attending the Saline Celtic Festival Clan and Cultural event offers the following benefits; - Two adult passes for the all the Saturday events with dance, music, and athletics. - Dedicated refreshment/snack/hospitality tent for Clan representatives - The opportunity to win Best Clan Tent award - Clan recognition during the Opening Ceremony at the athletic field. - Recognition of any Clan Dignitaries during the Festival - Clan recognition on the Festival website Clan events include - Blessing of the Tartans - Parade of the Clans during the Opening Ceremony on Saturday - Best Clan Tent Award - Closing ceremony for the wee bairns (Piper’s Parade and Clan March) - Participation in the Clan Passport program.
