Job Description: The job of Home Maintenance Specialist will be working on new construction apartment and condominium projects in the downtown Seattle and Bellevue area. You will be working in vacant home to help with maintenance and cosmetic repairs, and you'll be offering paint/drywall touch up and handy services directly to homeowners. We are looking for a reliable, passionate, and detail-oriented individual. We’ll rely on you to care for our homeowners and be a strong team player who supports everyone on the team. You must be well-organized with strong general repair skills, great customer service skills, excellent problem-solving skills, and a positive/curious mindset. Responsibilities: ~Interior painting (touch up to full roll and cut in) ~Light drywall repair ~Caulking ~Cabinet, door, window adjustment ~Troubleshoot/repair appliances ~Assist tradespeople with electrical, plumbing or HVAC repairs ~TV, shelf, wall décor mounting ~Light furniture assembly ~Light cleaning responsibility ~Undertake duties as assigned or emergency tasks ~Identify and report the need for major repairs Skills: ~Proven experience as handyperson ~Ability to make minor home repairs, hang and install TV and furniture, and assist homeowners with minor home repair needs in their home ~Proven experience with interior painting ~Experience with hardware tools and electrical equipment ~Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems - for troubleshooting purposes only ~Computer, phone, and email capabilities ~Exceptional communication skills ~Well-organized and good at problem-solving ~Attention to detail ~Prompt arrival to work daily Great benefits, paid vacation, and mentorship/career-pathing Come talk to us today -- we're excited to meet you!
