Victim Identified In Fatal Early Morning Milton Motorcycle Crash

MILTON, MA — The Milton man killed in a motorcycle crash on Truman Parkway early Sunday morning has been identified as 27-year-old Edwin Velazquez. Massachusetts State Police said Velazquez was driving in a group with other drivers of off-road-style vehicles on the parkway shortly after midnight when Velazquez collided with a 2019 Chevrolet Impala. The Impala, driven by a 56-year-old Milton man, then had a minor collision with a 2008 Dodge Avenger, driven by a 56-year-old Boston man. State police said they arrived to find Velazquez on the roadway suffering from serious injuries. He was later pronounced dead at the scene. The two other drivers were not injured.
