A concert performed by the members of the Boeckheler family - Ulrich, Kai-Zu, Martin, Miriam & Eva, w/ friend - pianist Mei-Ching Huang. It was Kai-Zu’s idea one December (2021) morning to throw a party for our friends with a family concert in April 2022. Our family has many reasons to celebrate in the month of April – birthdays (x 3) + wedding anniversary. Another aspect – we have a birthday in Feb (2) & another in June (6) – April (4) is the month right in the middle! April has since been a meaningful month for us. At the time of planning a few months ago, we never thought the Russian-Ukraine war would actually, sadly, take place. Initially this was a free concert to celebrate. However, our hearts have been aching for Ukraine and the Ukrainians. To help this beautiful, unfortunately heavily destroyed country and its people, we will be making contributions with all proceeds from this concert to these two organizations – UNICEF – Children in Crossfire of Ukraine Crisis & Doctors Without Borders Suggested donation - $10 Thank you again, and hope you enjoy the concert.
