Press release from the Town of Lexington: April 7, 2022 Curbside yard waste collection for the spring takes place every other week between April and the end of June on your regular trash/recycling collection day. The first week of yard waste collection this year began the week of Monday, April 11. Yard waste includes leaves, grass, plants, wood chips, pine needles, and brush 1" or less in diameter. Put it in paper bags, or barrels without lids, placed away from your trash/recycling. Yard waste stickers for barrels are available at the Department of Public Works.
