Here are the top three stories today in Buffalo: Buffalo Clinical Lab Corp is pushing for Buffalo Public Schools to implement lead testing programs in its schools. The effort is due to a recent acknowledgment by the district that lead is present in its water supply. The lab is mobile which would allow it to be set up practically anywhere. (Spectrum News)The City of Buffalo has announced a new program meant to reduce speeding through residential neighborhoods. The program will allow residents to submit requests for speed and traffic calming measures to the Department of Public Works, Parks & Streets. The city has also released a map detailing the improvements made throughout the city during 2021 to address the issue. (wyrk.com)The popular Buffalo Skyride is returning to Outer Harbor on Aug. 14. The bike ride will be expanded this year with a new route. Registration is currently $32 for GoBike members with $40 registration for non-members.
