BEVERLY, MA — These Beverly students were among those recently earning academic or athletic distinction at colleges, universities and schools across the nation.
Caitlin Tricomi attends UNC-Asheville where she is studying health and wellness promotion with a concentration in public health. She made the Dean's List for Fall 2021. She graduating in May.
Jonathan Tricomi attends UMass-Amherst where he studies biology and environmental science. He made the Dean's List for Fall 2021. He will graduate in May.
Luke Plecinoga, a member of the class of 2025, was named to the fall 2021 Dean's List at Loyola University Maryland.
In order to qualify for the Dean's List at Loyola, a student must achieve a minimum QPA of at least 3.500 for the term, provided that, in the term they have successfully completed courses totaling a minimum of 15 credits.
Julia Kelley was recently initiated into The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation's oldest and most selective all-discipline collegiate honor society. Kelley was initiated at Nova Southeastern University.
Kelley is among approximately 25,000 students, faculty, professional staff and alumni to be initiated into Phi Kappa Phi each year. Membership is by invitation only and requires nomination and approval by a chapter.
Only the top 10 percent of seniors and 7.5 percent of juniors are eligible for membership. Graduate students in the top 10 percent of the number of candidates for graduate degrees may also qualify, as do faculty, professional staff and alumni who have achieved scholarly distinction.
