Press release from Town of Andover: April 21, 2022 The Department of Public Works is having a contest to "Name the Plow"! This contest, open to all ages, gives residents the opportunity to submit names to the Department for a chance to name a truck used for plowing, as well as many other tasks around Town. Submissions must be received by May 1st at midnight. After the submission closes, DPW staff will review all submissions - at the Department's discretion - and select 12 finalists for the public to vote on. Public voting will commence from May 4th - to May 13th (ending at midnight). The top 4 names will become the contest winners and the winning names will be displayed on DPW Trucks.
