Press release from the Jefferson Parish Government: April 21, 2022 JEFFERSON, LA – The Jefferson Parish Water Department, in conjunction with the Louisiana Department of Health, is lifting the Boil Water Advisory on Thursday, April 21, 2022 for the area in Lower Lafitte on Jean Lafitte Boulevard located South of Shipyard Street based on the analysis of the bacteriological samples collected within the distribution system on Wednesday, April 20, 2022. Customers in the affected area may now use the water without boiling or disinfecting. No more precautionary actions are necessary.
