Man In Deadly Milford I-495 Crash Identified

MILFORD, MA — A 29-year-old Bridgewater man is the sole victim in an early-morning crash along I-495 in Milford. The crash happened just before 6:30 a.m. near Route 85, and caused long delays throughout the morning rush hour. According to police, Jacob Stenstrom was driving near the northbound off-ramp at exit 20 when he veered off to the left, drove his Honda CRV down an embankment, and crashed into a stand of trees. Stenstrom was pronounced dead at the scene. The reason for the crash was still under investigation as of Tuesday night. The crash initially blocked the off-ramp, but it partially reopened as of 8:30 a.m. The ramp was fully open as of 10:45 a.m. The crash caused a backup of six miles at one point. #MAtraffic Alert: Milford- I-495 NB at Exit 20 ramp closed for crash response.— Mass.
