Providence Fire Displaces 13 Residents, Cats In Home Missing

PROVIDENCE, RI — A house fire in Providence Friday morning displaced 13, and several cats who were in the home are missing, according to fire officials. The fire started around 9 a.m. at a Hillcrest Avenue home. Fire officials told WPRI 12 the flames were extinguished, but not before the fire damaged parts of the Providence home. Fire officials were still at the scene, as of Friday afternoon. Patch reached out to the Providence Fire Department and will update this story when we know more. This is a developing story.
