Press release from the San Diego County Government: April 20, 2022 The public is invited to a virtual town hall to hear a report on in-custody deaths in San Diego County. The Citizens' Law Enforcement Review Board commissioned the study and will host the town hall to discuss the results at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26. Analytica Consulting analyzed in-custody death data over the last 10 years and did a comparison of the San Diego Sheriff's Department with other California County Sheriff Departments. During the special meeting, Analytica Consulting personnel will present an overview of the report and answer questions regarding its findings. The public may participate and provide comments at this town hall link. No registration is required. Questions can be submitted ahead of time at Request to Speak.
