Description
MILFORD, MA — Milford graduates will get a special community-wide salute this Sunday. About 250 cars are expected to participate in a parade around town to celebrate the class of 2020.
Many towns and cities in Massachusetts are holding similar parades as a way of safely celebrating graduation amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Milford's parade will begin at 1 p.m. on Sunday at the high school before moving through the nearby neighborhood. The school has set up three parking zones for families who want to watch. Organizers are recommending spectators arrive no later than 12:45 p.m. — and to observe social distancing standards.
Parking is also available at Woodland and Brookside elementary schools, or the high school lots near the tennis courts and at the entrance of the school.
