MILFORD, MA — A Milford man hit at least four different roadside objects during a weekend drunken driving incident, according to police.
Police went to the Milford Country Club at around 1 a.m. Sunday on a report that a car had crashed into a tree. Once there, police discovered that a light pole, a fire hydrant and a speed limit sign were also hit and damaged, according to a police report.
Police arrested Justin Haffermehl, of Country Club Lane, and charged him with operating under the influence, driving with a suspended license, and failure to drive in the right lane.
Haffermehl's was the first of two OUI arrests that day. At around 8 p.m. Sunday, police arrested Elizabeth Fiore-Ward, 53, of Medway, after she was seen driving on the left side of Route 16. She was charged with OUI, negligent operation of a vehicle and a marked lanes violation.
