UXBRIDGE, MA — The driver of a car was killed Wednesday morning along Route 16 in Uxbridge after a crash with a dump truck, according to police. The crash happened at around 11 a.m. Wednesday near Teresa Drive near the Mendon town line. The two vehicles crashed head-on, but the cause of the deadly incident was still under investigation by the afternoon. The crash closed Route 16 between Rockmeadow Road and Blackstone Street, according to Uxbridge police.
