LEMONT, IL — The Lemont Police Department recently made a series of arrests involving local residents who have been charged with various criminal offenses. Residents are reminded that criminal charges do not equate to a guilty finding and that all suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty. ARRESTS Colleen M. Dennis, 42, Lockport, was arrested at 8:39 a.m. on April 9 and charged with operating a vehicle with a suspended registration and no insurance following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and 135th Street. Dennis was issued a May 20 court date at the Will County Courthouse. Samuel Jimenez-Hernandez, 24, Woodridge, was arrested at 11:29 a.m. on April 9 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration following a traffic stop at Lockport Street and New Avenue. Jimenez-Hernandez was issued a May 5 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse. William A. Westphal, 32, Midlothian, was arrested at 8:41 p.m. on April 9 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, Speeding (21-25 MPH Over Limit), and disobeying a stop sign following a traffic stop at Main Street and Holmes Street. Westphal was issued a May 9 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse. Ali Akbar M. Baker, 23, Lemont, was arrested at 10:22 a.m. on April 9 and charged with speeding (26-34 MPH Over Limit) following a traffic stop at 127th Street and Krystyna Place. Baker was issued a May 9th court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse. Martin Favela-Ramirez, 54, Sterling, was arrested at 7:43 a.m. on April 12 and charged with being over the weight of his registration and driving without insurance following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and Derby. Favela-Ramirez was issued a May 5 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse. Nicole F. Smith, 36, Homewood, was arrested at 8:54 a.m. on April 12 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration following a traffic stop at Lemont Road and Old Lemont Road. Smith was issued a May 5 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse. Michele P. Birk, 58, Lemont, was arrested at 11:41 a.m. on April 12 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and 135th Street. Birk was issued a May 20 court date at the Will County Courthouse. Corey K. Smith, 24, Lansing, was arrested at 3:49 p.m. on April 12 and charged with driving with a license suspended or revoked and disobeying a stop sign following a traffic stop at Cass Street and Lemont Street. Smith was issued a May 5 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse. Tadas Seskevicius, 44, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 8:03 p.m. on April 13 and charged with driving without a valid license (expired more than one year) and with no taillights following a traffic stop at State Street and Illinois Street. Seskevicius was issued a May 5 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse. Andrzej S. Tylka, 28, Chicago Ridge, was arrested at 8:30 a.m. on April 14 and charged with driving while his license is suspended or revoked, suspended registration, and no insurance following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and McCarthy Road. Tylka was issued a May 5 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse. Sam Gotti-Corrigan, 31, Berwyn, was arrested at 1:54 p.m. on April 14 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and no insurance following a traffic stop at Archer Avenue and 135thStreet. Gotti-Corrigan was issued a May 20 court date at the Will County Courthouse. Julian E. Taylor, 26, Joliet, was arrested at 11:21 on April 14 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration following a traffic stop at New Avenue and Brown Drive. Taylor was issued a May 9 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse. Lawrence S. Chalon, 30, Lemont, was arrested at 7:21 p.m. on April 15 and charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration following a traffic stop at McCarthy Road and Walker Road. Chalon was issued a May 9 court date at the Bridgeview Courthouse.
