Press release from the City of Rochester: April 20, 2022 In partnership with the City of Rochester and the New York State Department of Transportation, the Inner Loop expressway will be closed to traffic from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, April 22 so crews can remove litter and debris that accumulated over the winter. Motorist are also advised to avoid utilizing State Street between the Inner Loop ramps and Main Street as a detour during the morning commute due to ongoing construction.
