Box Truck Driver/Warehouse - DAY SHIFT HOURS!

POSITION SUMMARY · Deliver Pella products via 24 foot box truck and pickup with trailer. · Pick up and deliver items on an as-needed / scheduled basis. · On occasion unload semi's from Pella Corp and put material on shelves and carts. · On occasion pull material for production and for delivery drivers and help load trucks for deliveries · On occasion assemble product as needed · On occasion move material to shelves or carts in warehouse. · When needed assist in identification and counting as needed during inventory and audit ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS · Always have a neat and clean appearance. · Ability to read and understand Pella Company paperwork. · Operate a forklift and a narrow aisle lift-truck · Able to lift heavy items by oneself or with the assistance of other employees. · Be able to unload Pella Company trucks at the jobsite via a lift gate carrying approx 100 lbs. · Ability to walk and carry heavy items (100 plus pounds) up to 100yds from the street by yourself or with the assistance of fellow employees · Ability to walk and carry items on uneven surfaces at the jobsite · Ability to communicate with customers and fellow employees POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education · High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED) · Must have a valid driver license and safe driving record. Experience · Driving/warehouse experience necessary. SKILLS & ABILITIES Computer Skills · Ability to look up items on the computer and interpret information - basic computer knowledge · Ability to operate a scanner for the purpose of locating items in the warehouse WORK ENVIRONMENT · Warehouse and/or delivery vehicle Will require work in an inside and outside environment. Job Type: Full-time, M-F.
