Cat Adoption Event

Description
BCS Spay holds adoption events Saturday afternoons 2-5pm at the College Station Petsmart on University Ave (back by the cat litter). All our cats and kittens needing homes are spayed/neutered and microchipped for identification. They are up-to-date on vaccinations for rabies and FVRCP. Most are good with other cats but have not been around dogs or children (unless noted). Adoption fees range from $40 for adult cats over a year old to $80 for kittens under six months old. We include some extra goodies such as soft-sided carriers, calming spray, bowls, toys, and nail clippers with adoptions (while supplies last). Reply to this post for our adoption application or apply at the adoption event. Planning to attend Saturday, April 23 (if they get in carriers) are: - Jett, a sweet, small, and speedy solid black female kitten around 6 months old, - Deja, a sweet, fluffy dilute calico around 10 months old (might prefer to be the only cat and no dogs) - Lucy & Kiki, patch tabby/calico sisters around a year old (should be adopted together or possibly to a home with another young cat for company) - Morris, a fluffy orange male cat with FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) around 6 years old. Others available for individual meetings with an approved application (some might attend future adoption events): - Peanut, a young orange female cat around one year old, - Cleo, a solid black female around 3 years old, bonded with her sister Roxy (special needs due to eye issues, must be adopted together, OK with dogs), - Annie, a black/white tuxedo female around 3 years old (should be the only cat unless adopted with Columbus), - Columbus, a brown tabby male around 3 years old (would do best adopted with one of his sisters Annie or Connie), - Washington, a sleek solid black male around 3 years old, - Charlie Chaplin, a big black/white tuxedo male around 7 years old, - Smoky, a big gray male around 7 years old, - Winona, a small, bossy, black/white tuxedo female cat 8 years old. We do have several young kittens who should be ready for adoption in the coming weeks. Or let us know if you are interested in fostering cats or kittens while they wait for forever homes. We provide supplies and pay for essential vet care (fostering to adopt is usually an option). We can provide information on low-cost spay/neuter options in our area for pets or feral/community cats.
