SAUGUS, MA — A woman was injured when an ambulance crashed into a car at Main Street nad Lynn Fells Parkway. Armstrong Ambulance said one of its ambulances was transporting someone when it crashed around 10 a.m. Friday morning. No one in the ambulance was injured; Saugus Police said a 72-year-old woman was transported by a another ambulance after the crash. Police also said a 19-year-old woman driving the other car was brought to the hospital with injuries that were not believed to be life-threatening.
