Visit for more information or follow us on and. DCO Facility Maintenance Technician I - Atlanta, GA The primary responsibility will be maintaining the overall cleanliness of the facility. Main areas of responsibility will include but are not limited to: customer and employee common areas, shipping and receiving areas, data floor, back of house and office spaces. This individual will work with the team of fellow technicians to meet all goals of keeping facilities clean and ready for tours and daily use. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: General janitorial duties to include cleaning, vacuuming, trash removal and room organization General facility upkeep Basic material handling for both equipment and chemicals used on the job Use of basic warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift) Other Duties: Other duties as assigned Required Job Skills: Applicant must have a demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service to match the expected level of cleanliness and organization expected from the Switch brand. Must have excellent attention to detail Must demonstrate excellent time management and the ability to work alone or with team members Must have an understanding of safety requirements related to the materials and chemicals used Must also have a good outward appearance and attitude Education: High school diploma or equivalent Experience: Basic janitorial or maintenance experience General safety practices for the industry Physical Demands: The data center is 24 hours/7-day operation. This position requires the ability to work effectively under pressure and multi-task and supervise multiple projects simultaneously. This person may be required to work extended hours during peak work periods. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
