Best friend needs a new home

Aero is a 4 year old Black Mouth Cur and is the best friend/dog I've ever had. He deserves a home with a yard and someone who is home more often. I bought a house and I moved out of a neighborhood where he had a lot of friends and a park to run in. When I moved to Oroville, he lost all his friends, the park (Oroville doesn't have a dog park), and a yard with a fence. He spends most of his days alone and chained up. I love him too much to keep him in this situation. He's absolutely perfect. Walks on a leash (or without one), comes when you call his name, is calm, and doesn't need much. He would be happiest in a home that has someone around him more and who loves to go on walks or hikes. He's not hyper active at all, but dogs who are, are annoying to him. He gets along with other dogs, but is particular about who he likes. He doesn't mind cats (I have one) as long as they don't run. He hates squirrels though. They taunt him.
