Job Title: Production Worker Wimberley Inc. (tripodhead.com) is a small, family-owned, internationally recognized, manufacturer of high quality photographic equipment. Pleasant, low-stress, non-smoking, perfume-free, and casual-dress work environment, Dispersed working conditions that are not conducive to spreading COVID-19 Starting Hourly Wage of $17.00 per hour Monday through Friday 7:15 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Two paid breaks of 15 minutes each 30 minute lunch break (Specific hours subject to change.) 7.75 hrs/day (38.75 hrs/week) Benefits: Employer-paid retirement (10% of gross pay) Health insurance, half paid by employer Paid time off (15 days per year) Paid Holidays (7.5 days per year) Essential functions: Assembling parts using electric screwdrivers, drill drivers, hand tools etc. Packaging parts and assemblies Inspecting parts and assemblies Grinding castings with die grinders, belt grinders etc. Patching castings with epoxy paste Deburring parts with hand tools Loading and unloading CNC milling machines Doing secondary operations on machine tools Cutting bar stock Counting parts Transporting goods and tools from one location to another Cleaning parts Housekeeping and other non-production tasks as assigned Key Knowledge, Skills, and Traits: Is punctual and reliable Is mechanically sophisticated and skilled Can comprehend and follow written instructions Works with adequate speed, accuracy, and safety Is able to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds Can use die grinders and/or belt grinders for up to half a day, while standing Has the visual acuity to examine parts for small flaws Works cooperatively with coworkers and supervisors Is safety-conscious and wears protective gear whenever appropriate or required has verified Covid-19 immunization To apply, hit “reply” and send a cover letter and resume.
